Gaming HDD power down detection?

Hi, I'm looking for some software application to detect HDD power down.

As you know some HDD's click and the tend to die, they power down then back up (producing the click sound). Is there any software that could record this in a log ot something like that?

Your hard drive can power down by the power options you have selected in "Power Options" located in the control panel. This type of operation does not kill your hard drive. I'm not sure where you got that information.

If you have not heard of hdd clicking and then die that does not mean that it is not real. And no my power options are set to OFF.

I'm just looking for some hdd burn-in software
