Hey I am running MBM5 and it says that I am running my CPU at 140F and case is at 90F. Are these acurate readings? That seems a little high...last time I checked the bios it was at 118F Idle....I have been playing games for a while but I was wondering if these readings are pretty close to true. TY

I've never trusted that program. Always seems high to me. I think you'd have to use some thermostat device to check you temps and then adjust MBM accordingly. Too much hassle in my book.

just do some trial and error in the sensor setting of mbm 5. it works for me...

by the way, i'm just lazy to convert your temp to Celsius.. hope it's not that hot

with the axp, the mbm (because it takes the temp from the bios... and the bios from the thermal diode underneath the cpu but within the open middle are of the socket) monitor is not as accurate as with the p4s.

Motherboard Monitor have been somewhat accurate on my PC's at least.
Try running a game for a couple of minutes (or maybe a benchmark suite). Check the Motherboard Monitor temperatures then quickly reboot and go to the BIOS and check the temps.
The PC wont have time to cool down (not much anyway) so see the temps of the BIOS. If they are still high, then definitely you need better cooling.!

mbm takes the temperature FROM the bios.... so what is your point? the mbm exactly relays what the bios sees. the point is, with the axp... the bios temps are inaccurate - thereby the mbm is also inaccurate.
