Kids should I???

change out my Vantec Aeroflow for the new Zalman CNPS700A-Cu? From what I heard it only spins at 2500 RPM's and is whisper quiet. My Aeroflow spins at 5500 RPM's and is quiet but not as quiet as I'd like it to be. BUT......... Is the Zalman as good as the Aeroflow? Is it worth the swap?

System:
Tt XaserII Case
Antec Smart Power 350w PSU
MSI 865PE NEO2 SL
P4 2.53GHz (overclocked 'sometimes' @ 2.8GHz)
1GB OCZ PC2700 REV. 3.2 (Dual Channel)
ATI Radeon 9800 NP w/ Tt GII
WD 60GB ATA/100 7200RPM
Sound Blaster Audigy
CDRW
DVD
3 1/2 Floppy

Good point. Just curious if anyone is using the Zalman and is it actually 'whisper' quiet with the same cooling as the Aeroflow.

I read a lot regarding the Zalmans before buying. Several senior members in a smaller forum like the 700a, but not for quiet. Also read some negative comments regarding vibration at higher fan speeds.

For quiet, the Zalman passive heatsinks work quite well.

Attached is a pic of my budget rig, using ONLY ONE FAN. Barton 2500 @ 2.04 Ghz, 38C when netsurfing.

I built another one with the CPNS 3100 for a buddy, Chieftec case, PSU with a bottom 120 mm fan, and only use the side panel fan. Temps in low 40's with a 1700 TBRED @ 145 FSB

Unfortunately, I did not do a photo gallery of this build, but you get the idea:

Try zoomin in to see the Heat sink, no fan.

Well I plan on upgrading to a P4 2.8 800FSB CPU... That's why I was looking into the Zalman CNPS700A-Cu. The passive heatsinks with the fans wouldn't work with the case I have either... Anyone have any success with the particular HSF I am looking to purchase?
