Epson Printer Sheet Feed

This is my first post in any forum so be patient please. I have a 14 month old Epson Stylus Photo 2200 that I use for standrd printing need other than photo printing. When using 8.5xaa sheet feed, this printer has started feeding the first sheet through blank and then printing on the next sheet. I've checked Epson's web site and the driver listed is what I am using now. I'm using Win XP Home on an old 1997 Dell Pentium III. I don't have USB 2.0, but if that was the cause, it waited 14 months to start acting up.

Try Printing something in a different program and see if it does the same. It sounds like its something in your print settings or the which pages you have it set to print. Anyways doesnt sound like anything that would cause damage more of just a nuesense

Thanks for your input This problem is present using MS Office apps, printing from the web, or even notepad. I am in and out of the printer applet in Control Panel often, there is no separator sheet set to feed by error, and I am otherwise very familiar with the settings available. I just checked the feed adjustment to see of it was set for envelopes or thick stock, but it was set for normal paper feed. I am using 24# 94 bright ink jet paper. The printer gets only nominal office duty, but this has not changed over the last 14 months.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the printer?
