need help making a logo in freehand.

hey, im doing a project for my communication tech class where i have to design a logo for a made up company. the company's name has to be my initials (ZM). so as im a computer freek, i decided to make my company a hardware manufacturer (like asus or abit). now the problem is that i know little to nothing about freehand (we can only use freehand) so i need someone to teach me how i can give kind of a "tech" look to my logo in freehand. if any of u have any ideas about how to make this logo stand out then please plz feel free to suggest them.
