XP service pack 1

Do you know if ther is a disk for service pack 1 or a download for it other than microsoft?

Thank you for both the welcome and the link. The link will redirect you from PC world back to microsoft, I gues there is no way around mighty microsoft.. I will seek out the disk as a solution to my problem.

Is there a reason why you don't want to get it from M$ website? Wether you get it from them, another site, or on a CD, it's still the same SP.

Maybe the computer he's wanting to install it on isn't connected to the 'net? Or maybe he has to install it on a few different computers and only wants to download it once?

I've been wondering how can I just get the .exe/.msi installer for SP1 as well as other updates?

SP1a Choose the 'Network Installation' to get the whole thing.

First its a she, (hee hee, ) I have DSL, got all the updates but SP1 and microsoft wont give it up seems a little problemo with the keeeeey,

It doesn't happen to start w/ FCKGW does it? Tsk, tsk if it does.

Anyway, you can get the CD for SP1a here

Since they're not supporting the d/l of SP1, I doubt it you can get the CD for it.

I just couldnt say, but just supposing if you had a CD could you use it or is it specific to each end users machine or does it also check the key???
