SBLive! driver on an nForce2 Mobo?

I'm using a nForce 2 chipset on my motherboard, which is an Asus A7N8X Deluxe, and I was wondering if you are able to install a driver like SBLive! onto it. I don't know much about audio drivers, so if anyone would tell me if this is possible, or some other options i would love to listen .

You bet. That's exactly what I'm using right now. Just disable the onboard audio in the BIOS and then install the SoundBlaster. No problems.

I would think not. The SBLive! drivers are made for SoundBlaster cards. The sound card on the A7N8X Delux is a nVidia Soundstorm.

I found the Creative driver dropped the audio level 10-15db (roughly) over the stock 2k drivers.

Has anyone else found this with the SB Live Value??

It was the latest driver (about a year old) I believe.
