chipset problem

hey every1

how can i tell which version of the nforce2 ultra 400 cipset driver i am using. where do i need to go??

I used 2 have the 1.12 version and dloaded the 3.13 version yesterday however when i isntalled it i simply opened the exe file without removing the previous nforce chipet drivers. will this cause any problems with my pc??

I am askin this because when i start up my PC there is a click noise which wasnt there before and also when i try to restart a program called something you should not see.... is always not responding. i dont kno if this has nething 2 do with the chipset driver update.

First of all, which motherboard do you have? As most are using the NVIDIA nForce2 Ultra 400 chipset and all use the same Forceware drivers. There should be no problems installing the newer 3.13 drivers over the older ones.

Hmmm... Wonder if he meant seeing an error dialog box that pops up saying "You Should Not See This" or some such. Happens sometimes with video drivers.
