security alert message begone!!

how do i get rid of this security alert that started showing up every time i attempt to enter a website?

it wasnt there ever before. just started out of the blue.

its a pain. i would like it gone

I don't think you can. That site is using an expired certificate. It's going to pop up everytime you go to that site. It probably expired recently, which is why you weren't seeing it before.

I tried unchecking the "Warn about invalid site certificates" box under Tools=>Internet Optoins=>Advanced, but it still pops up.

Go to Add/Remove programs. Go to Add/Remove Windows Components. Check to see if the "Update Root Certificates" is installed. If not, install it.

its already been checked,kevin. my wifes machine has xp home (i m using xp pro) and we visit the same sites,and she doesnt get the message.
