SATA HDD and CDROM hookup ?

I'm using my SATA HDD that I installed which is a Maxtor 120GB SATA 150. I plan to use that drive as the Operation System.

Now my question is, for the CD-ROM hookup, can hookup the CD-ROM so it will be the Primary Master since no Hard drive will be using the regular IDE channels.

Yes you can. that is how my Abit NF7-s is set up, but on my board enabling SATA disables the slave on the secondary IDE channel

Thanks. 1st time doing SATA, though I've done built several other cpu's IDE style.
