Have you compiled them using make, then make install? Afterwards, run kudzu or simply reboot to detect the integrated NIC.

I run this on my SuSE 9 box. Here's what I did to get things going:
After installing the driver(s) (I used the rpm) I opened /etc/modules.conf in a text editor as root and added these 2 lines:
alias eth0 nvnet
options nvnet optimization=1
I saved and closed the file and ran modprobe nvnet from a root prompt. You may get a warning about signatures but it can be ignored.
In SuSE I configured my nic with YaST2 but RH uses netconfig, I believe. Where it asks for what module, use nvnet.

I'm not at my SuSE box ATM, but here's my MDK 9.1 modules.conf file:
Code:
probeall scsi_hostadapter ide-scsi
above snd-via82xx snd-pcm-oss
alias eth0 8139too
alias sound-slot-0 via82cxxx_audio
probeall usb-interface usb-uhci
Anywhere with the other alias listings should be ok.
The back speaker thing I cant say; dont have surround speakers hooked to any of my boxes.

sorry that i did not give full details of the problem. I am using redhat 9.0 on biostar mainboard with amd processor and nforce 2 and i installed lan driver NVIDIA_nforce-1.0-0261.rh90up_2.4.20_6.athlon, when i start configuring it shows eth0 nvnet but when i try to activate the eth0 it says the eth0 cannot be activated. could any one suggest me whether i am using the correct driver if yes could any one suggest solution for the problem.
