Have you installed the MB drivers?

first check in the manual if there is a jumper on the mother board that might need to be enabled

if not use a ps2 keyboard to get to a bios and enable usb ports and legacy usb support

I found out when I installed motherboards, that I would have to do a full format on HD and re-install windows. Sucks, but I tried the windows repair but all it did was add more stuff to my HD and take up more space...Make sure the PS is correctly plugged into MB and it didn't wiggle out for some reason. Then I would reccommend a full format and go from there.

I got it all up and running. For now i just repaired the drive, and ill see how it runs. I might format soon though. The reason i couldnt get anything to work was that i forgot that usb's wont work and i needed a ps/2 keyboard. ran into a couple of problems after windows was installed, like after i removed my ati drivers (bc alot of files were missing from the repair), it wouldnt let me put them back on until like the 10th time i tried but i got that all fixed now. Thanks for the help.

when you change out a motherboard the only real way to do it cleanly is a clean install of the os .

back up your old data , format and do a clean install . it will save alot of time and hassles .

just formatted yesterday. Its running great now. Thanks for all the help. Only annoying part was looking for usb2.0 drivers on the internet with no mouse and like a 7 year old keyboard taht barely works . But once i got my usbs running, it was a breeze from there. Thanks again.
