Is the FPS I get while video capturing always half of my in-game FPS, or is it a hard limit based on my hard-drive speed? I'm wondering; If I upgrade my computer signifigantly and double my FPS in games, will it yield much higher Fraps FPS or will the 7200RPM HardDrive act as a bottleneck?
