video rca cable, how long?

How long can I draw a rca cable solely for video purposes without deteriorating the video quality?

I need to run a cable approx. 15m, but I think the signal in rca will be too weak at the other end.

15m is pretty distant for an RCA. Is there a way you could use large coaxial cable instead? Internal cabling for normal cable runs can handle 15m easily without significant signal loss.

Notice I said significant, everyone who is about to explain to me (the guy that designed cable systems for a living) the physics of line loss and distance.

Well, it's supposed to come out of my video card, and end up in tv.
I'll probably have svideo and composite output from the card, and it will go in to scart-rca adapater.
//edit: The scart adapter is in tv of course, which is 15m from the output of my video card.

I don't know what large coaxial cable is, or if I can implement it.

It's the cable that goes into the back of your TV from you cable provider. So s-vid or composite. Hm. I recommend moving the computer closer to the TV. It'd be easier.

Unfortunately that is not possible. The only way to move the computer 'closer', would be to drill holes to the wall and save some 7m

I think he means. RF cable. The ones used for satalite dish-cable tv and antenna's. R6 is for sat. dishes and has copper all through. Much stronger signal over long distances. Think my Sat. manual said 100ft without a booster.
