9800 Pro for really cheap?? good deal?
Ok, I've been planning on getting the 9700 Pro Retail from newegg ($202), but I just saw that they have a Sapphire Radeon 9800 Pro for $227 RETAIL.
Which should I go with? Only $20 difference so is the 9800 a lot better?
edit: sorry i wrote OEM in the poll instead of retail

The 9800 Pro outshines the 9700, and for about £160 you are definately getting your money's worth.

The 9800 Pro all the way down faster card, man I bougt a 9500 4 months ago like $160, I should have waited for this deal...
retail means you will get some extra software or bundled games.....

Thats a great deal, I got my ATI R9800 Pro off of newegg for $300 Retail.
9800 Pro = 380 MHz core, 340X2 MHz mem, 8 Pixels
9700 Pro = 325 MHz Core, 310X2 MHz mem, 8 Pixels
Its the same card with a few cache tweaks and a higher scaled GPU and memory speed. I dont think $27 more will break ya.

I would think you should maybe rethink what you said, however I have seen some discussions that where he was correct and you were a bit confused, don't see how that justifys your views.
