Outdoors Computer Turns Off

Hello,

Alright heres my situation, I have a Pentium 4 3.0ghz Processor 800mhz FSB. ASUS P4C800 Motherboard, ATI Radeon 9700 Pro. I have a 500 watt power supply which was rather cheap when I bought it so I thought it was a good deal, I think it might be my problem, My computer RUns perfectly fine while im running applications, and surfing the net but then when I play a Game for awhile I'll be playing then my whole computer just shuts off, There is no damage from it shutting off so I assume the ASUS board turns off my computer before anything happens.

I was thinking the power supply might be failing out when I run the games because it sucks more power, but its never done this before, it just started up recently, and I have made no hardware changes so its rather odd, The other possibility I Was thinking was it over heating but thats never been an issue either, well if any of you can help me with this please help me cause I need help! Thanks.

I would install and run Aida32 diagnostic tool and look at your rail voltages and the temps when the game is running... If thats possible anyway...some games totally shut off when bumped to windows to view Aida.
Gaming generally stresses all components more than usual and stress causes excess heat... heat is often the culprit... blowing out the power supply, the heatsink fan on both the CPU, and the GPU (video card) is a good starting place...

With the dust situation yes, I recently opened it and man was it dusty as hell, I mean it was disgusting so I dusted all the fans and everything with an Air Thingy, umm Temps when my computer shuts down and I boot it back up I go into the Bios and check out the temps it says like 120 - 130 kinda fluctuates, and to my knowledge that isnt all that high?

Alright I took some Screen Shots of AIDA32 while Game is running and while a game isnt running, Maybe you can make sense of what it says.

Yes but unfortunately the bios only reports a "no load" temperature, not what the components are at when running a high stress program or game. THAT is what really matters.

your links dont bring up screen shots for me...
you simply look up the temps under "Computer" ... "Sensor"
leave it running and start your game ...run it for a minute and then hit your "windows" key to jump to windows... then check what the temps say... also the voltages...
