Quiet Case

I'm going to be building a PC for my grandfather. I know that he likes to shut down his PC every night because it makes so much noise. I'm not looking to spend a ton of money on a soundproof case, but I am looking for suggestions on cases that muffle sound well, and power supplies that have extra quiet fans. I'll be ordering quiet fans for the case itself as well.

Try to find a case that can use large fans, 120mm at slow speed.
Removing restrictive fan grills, (little holes)and replacing them with the wire kind will quiet down the fans more.
