I have that exact mobo AND a ATI Radeon 9800 (sapphire). Not one compat issue. Think about it. If Nvidia did they they would be killing of half their customers. Making folks hate them even more then some do now. And just pulling another bad buisness move (like 3dfx death was). They arent that dumb. THough they are dumb enuff to join up with EA. E....A...... Everything Annoying!

Yeah, there isn't any difference between using an nvidia card, ati, or matrox.
Funny people start talking about how horrible nvidia is with taking over 3dfx noone seemed to mention it till all the disputes of why ones ati card is superior, and how nvidia is inferior.
It's all pointless to come up with reasons to make you feel better about an ati card isn't it?
As for them working directly with E.A. I would have to say get over it dude, it's all silly to pander over things like that because you are now a firm believer in ati.

EA as in Electronic Arts? They have some good concepts for games, like BF1942 but really need to balance everything out.

They just "produce" the games. Look at other co's name in the titles like Bf 1942. Digital Illusions did the "real" work in that game. THink of it like Disney and Pixar. That kinda situation.

Sorry to burst yer buble. "pop" I didnt mention it "just recently". Ive stood that ground from day 1! They couldnt beat the comp so they bought them out! They lowered their $ by fighting them in court of long tedious battles. That causesd a delay in their new line of cards that it hurt them BAD. THen when down Nvidia bought them out. I was a HUGE 3dfx fan. I didnt buy ATI to feel good. LOL. I bought a G3 right after my Voodoo3 was "unsupported". I gritted my teeth doing it though. And the $ was very high for what I got! I have a NF2 mobo. Hmmm. I got a 8500 after the G3 and liked it alot. Hmmmm. I now have a ati radeon 9800, why? I liked my 8500 that kicked arse in its day. So -how do I use 3dfx's death as the entire reasoning for my ati purchases again? Please clerify your accusations!

THIS is the greatness we can now expect from Nvidia and EA joining forces.

See my Sapphire Radeon 9800 (NP non SE) has 1 mb mem no gpu or any ramdac. Nice.
Yep- cant even ID a ATI card for their tech support. just gave it a run on BF1942 to see what EA info would say! LOL.
