Ventrilo uses port 3784 by deafult. So in your router, you need to Forward this port the LAN IP of your computer that is running Ventrilo server.

When people on the Internet connect to it, they need to use your PUBLIC IP address (aka WAN IP address of your router).

Does your router by chance have a setting to allow a local IP (the one your server is on) to be set to a DMZ setting....... essentially putting your box "outside" your firewall ??

Otherwise, you'll need to know which ports need to be open to allow the gamers to connect to your server. The D-Link manual should have info about IP forwarding....... Whatever ports your games use, need to be forwarded to your servers local IP address.

HTH's.

It also depends on what game your hosting, I can host an online halo game but not a half life game for example.
