Digital Flat Panel only works analog

I have a Microtek C997SD Digital flat panel monitor connected to a Pixelview GeForce5200 video card. The monitor will only work in analog mode. Microtek does not provide drivers for their monitors so I have it installed as a generic digital flat panel. I have the latest and greatest drivers for the video card. But still digital eludes me, can not run this stupid monitor in digital mode. Don't even have the option anywhere.

Any suggestions?

You are using the 24-pin DVI connector, right?
There is no switch on the monitor to swap it from analog to digital?

Ok here---
In your OSD there is a "port-select" option that changes input from the VGA to the DVI port---give that a try...

I have both cables (DVI and analog) securely connected. There is no switch, but if I use the on screen controls I can't use digital. I select digital and it goes right back to analog.

No response with just the DVI cable. Computer boots but the display is completely black. That's why I stuck the analog in there. I just figured the boot up needed the old fashioned connection.

I'm really beginning to hate this monitor.

I don't know if the cable is bad or not, really no way to tell. It was the one provided by the manufacturer. There is one other computer here at work that has a flat panel. I'll steal that cable and see because I know that cable is good.
