Word 2002 problem

The standalone version of Word 2002 has been installed on a PC running Windows XP Home. The PC has an 80Gb hdd and 256Mb ram.

The PC appears to work normally - I have scanned it for viruses (viri?), trojans etc etc and run mem test overnight, none of which reports any problems.

However, as soon as I open a document in Word and then try to change the size of the envelope to a DL size, the screen goes blank and the PC re-boots itself, after which one of those XP error reports (send - dont send) is generated, and the details of which seem to be meaningless !!!!

I have deleted the normal.dot, run a "repair" from the Word CD and uninstalled and re-installed it, all to no avail.

Anyone come across a similar problem, or hs anyone got any other ideas ??

All help much appreciated.

Have you installed all the updates/service packs for Word?
