Driver Utility needed

I am looking for a proggie that is able to identify and locate all the drivers needed to make a card work.
Like if I am going to reformat, and I want to save all the drivers that are currently installed for the soundcard. Is there a utility to help me do this?
That way I can just copy the drivers onto a CD and I'll have them when I get ready to install the harware again.

Thanks

I've never used them but I did see a few shareware progs at Tucows, one of which is called Driver Genius Professional 1.5, and you can download an evaluation for 15 days.

URL is : http://tucows.blueyonder.co.uk/preview/335348.html

Hope this is of help !!

I had tried one and tried backing up the drivers, it missed bits and pieces of the drivers, so I figured it was just easier to just gather system specs if you dont know them well enough and go to each manufacture's site and find all the driver packages, if not use the cd's for any extra driver software, lets say for instance an sb card has tons of extra stuff you may like or not.
You will need a video card driver, motherboard drivers, nic drivers, modem drivers, sound drivers and whatever else you have in your system. Some programs like that will work great especially if they know exactly every file needed, some will not however and will try and gather all that are needed and miss a few dll's and etc.

SiSoft SANDRA will identify all your drivers and more...but I dont think it will save them onto disk for you.

This is what I use: DriverGuide Toolkit .

Used to have a free version.

Now it's for trial usage.
