SNMP Mibs for IBM AIX

Anyone know if CPU, memory, etc is exposed through SNMP for IBM AIX 4.03. Anybody have any mibs for IBM.

You could probably use an utility like the mosy compiler to create a descriptive file usable with snmpinfo. Assuming the correct MIBs are in place, I would assume the information you desire could be collected.

Many MIBs used to be available at IBM's networking website, though I haven't looked at an AIX install since the late-90s, so availability could have changed.

That about exhausts my severely limited knowledge of the AIX MIB architecture.

Thanks, we have been working with Mosy and snmpinfo. Still no luck. It looks like it is going to be more of a challenge to find the smi or mib files to cat to the end of mib.defs.

ugghhhh, This must be the only way IBM keeps themselves in business. By not documenting or providing any support.
