I am having issues with a newly purchased MSI 48-24-48 CDRW/DVD Combo drive. Windows XP is recognizing the drive as a local disk in my computer and not as an optical drive as it should. I ahve checked MSI's website to no avail. Any ideas on what to do?
did the drive come with drivers? if you have them or you can find them on the web then you need to uninstall the cd drive (however it is at the moment) and reinstall using those drivers.
