blue screen of death

just got this message via blue screen of death...

An exception OE has occurred at 0028:C004EC40 in VxD VCACHE (01) 000015A4. This was called from C004AC56 in VxD VEAT (01) + 0000B166

it then said windows protection error system halted. what's wrong?

please list the os, the hardware and are you running the latest ms updates?

did you install anything different?

Windows ME and i just did a update not to long ago.

is this just a one time thing of does it reoccour

if it was just once and hasnt alterd anything to be screwed up it shouldnt be too big of a problem

just to be sure it wouldnt hurt to run completley updated ad-awae spy bot and anti-virus

if it is reoccuring is there something in common when it happens or is it completley random
