advanced spam filters on web email?

ok
i made 1 dumb mistake once & clicked - 'click here to be removed from our mailing list' link at the bottom of a spam mail & now recieve spam on a regular basis on an email acoount that i've had for years & dont want to change. all custom filters are maxed out but they slip through by using symbols ie 'vi/agra' etc.

i know there are lots of filters that scan the context of an email message for a more in depth scan, but are only available for POP3 access.

has anyone seen one for web based email accounts ?

i may end up finally paying for one after years of freebies.

cheers

you'd have to get a web based account with filtering or find some way to load the messages into a email program and use a spam filter in it. I'd recommend Outlook and spambayes(best spam filter i've seen so far and free too) if it's possible.

then it looks like the only solution would be to get a new email address. there's not going to be any way to filter online email more than whatever the email provider uses. What about IMAP? Isn't that a web based email service type? It's in outlook. I wonder if any place uses that.
