Need Win XP Help...

I've had it with Suse 9.0 and I don't have enough time to learn it during the school year so I decided to install Windows XP for the mean time. Whenever I load up format, and copy the files for XP, when it restarts the first time it says. "Unable to load operating system." Why does this keep happening, it's my 4th time to try to do it. I tryed to different XP discs too to make sure they were scratched badly.

Did you get rid of the Linux partition?
If not XP can't remove it.

Yah, I'm pretty sure I deleted it. Is there anyway I can set a jumper or something to totally clear the harddrive? I've never ran into something like this, i tryed installing the RAID drivers too.

The HD manufacturers disk usually works to clear the drive, even Linux
You can get them on line.

rand did you delete the partitions? the winxp is able to do that.

i would load up winxp on part of the drive, then Suse 9 on the other partition.

windows does not like to be loaded second to linux.

Look in the BIOS setup and make sure it is set to boot off the correct drive or partition.

I've set it to boot off HD 0 and I've deleted the Linux Partitions. I'll try booting off HD 1 HD 2 HD 3 in the boot sequence.
