KotOR : Need help on Kashyyyk

Ok I'm stuck.

Well...not so much stuck, I'm just getting my arse kicked! I'm in the Lower Shadowlands and I'm doing the side mission where you're out looking for the Mandalorians to avenge the wookie who's hunting party was slaughtered.

I've taken out the two sets of Mandalorians and am now trying to take out the Commander and his two guards. These guys are tough! I've tried a couple different strategies and none have worked yet. I've even managed to kill one of the guards so then it's 3 on 2 and I still get beat.

Anyone got any suggestions on how to beat these guys? Thanks...

I don't know what Force Powers you have, but when I did it, I had Jolee and Bastilla with me, so I used Force Wave a whole bunch of times, Force Statsis Field, and Heal.

Bastila would use Flurry, Jolee would do the Advanced Lightsaber throw, while I would use critical hits all the time.

I have the same team. Bastilla and Jolee. All team members have full health, full force power. I'm equiped with a Lightsaber in each hand, Bastilla with her double-edged saber and Jolee with his lightsaber and a short-lightsaber in his off hand. Force Powers that I have are Stun, Cure and Advanced Lightsaber Throw. Bastilla and Jolee both have Stasis and Whirlwind.

Was gonna try your suggestion using the lightsaber throw but you're too close initially to use it, if you turn on solo mode and position yourself to use it...when you activiate the signal device it'll move you right back to where you were. Ugghhh...

Who have you got with you? I prefer to take out the easy guys, the kill the commader. Have you tried using powerful grenades like Plasma?

DO NOT USE TWO WEAPONS if they aren't trained. Bastila is, Jolee isn't, unless you trained him. I just used one lightsaber for Jolee and myself. Also, did you use a workbench to make your sabers stronger? That's what I did (Forgot to mention).

I'm trained to use 2 weapons but Jolee isn't so I'll try using him with just the 1 lightsaber. I didn't think grenades would be that practical since they show up RIGHT behind you...I'd damage myself and my party with them. Hell I'll try anything at this point, it's really starting to get on my nerves...

I used Bastila and Jolee on that one. Use Knight/Master Speed before putting the card into the bike. Then pause the game and have each guy stun/whirlwind the leader. Then use flurry for the extra bonus attack and he should go down easily.

What's Knight/Master Speed? Jolee has Force Speed...is that what you're referring to?

I've tried having EVERY member use the whirlwind (or stun/stasis) on the leader...but EVERY F'ing time (this is the really annoying part) they start off with a damn cryo-grenade and 2/3 of my team gets immobilized.

This is really starting to piss me off.....

Did you beat Korriban yet? If you did, maybe you should use that sword as a reward for finishing Korriban.
