wireless bridge recommendation?

I work for a school district and we have roughly 25 or so wireless laptops that we would like to use for wireless internet browsing and access to the server. We've tried linksys 4 port wireless AP/routers and they seem to be very slow when all computers are connected. They also seem unstable at times. Can anyone recommend a better alternate solution, maybe a wireless bridge or a different AP. We're looking for something stable and also able to handle multiple users. Any help is appreciated.

So are you looking for a wireless bridge, or an access point?? A wireless bridge is a point A to point B deal, as where many computers can connect to an access point.
