ya, over the network it doesnt matter what type of partition you have...that issue only comes into play usually if you have a dual boot system with a fat32 system like w98, and then you have a drive with ntfs stuff also...the fat32 wouldnt be able to see the ntfs stuff....but over a network it doesnt matter..cuz by then it has been changed into a networking protocol blah blah etc

well, of course the main reasons to use NTFS are to have the stronger ntfs permissions (and also compression if you want)
