98se to win2k

I am running a 98se machine and a win2k machine. I can't access the win2k machine. When I try to get to it it says "no permission to access resource" I have set it to allow everyone to have full control. What else can I try?

I think you might have to make an account on the 2000 machine that matches the name used on the W98 machine.

I just did this on a WinME and Win2k setup. On the WinME pc click start and see what it says at the "Log Off "name" What ever this name is make an account on the Win2K machine with the same name. I also used the same password for the account on the 2K machine and the drive shares on the ME machine.
Also on the 2K machine right click my computer and click on properties and network identification and the network ID button. Select not part of a domain. It worked for me anyway.
