web cams and sound
Am desperately trying to determine why my new Web Cam Pro by Creative, won't allow me to hear my son and for him to hear me. He can hear other people so it is with me the fault lies. Also, my daughter's laptop can't pick up his voice as well. The speakers and microphone are working fine, and everything is turned on correctly in the settings ex: microphone is on. The company suggested it is because we have a sound card on our mainboard. Mine (mainboard) is a K7SEM, version 1.0a. Don't know about the laptop. Can't find any solutions so would appreciate help. Should tell you that both computers have Windows XP but the box says it is supported and so does the company. The video works great.
