Kids geometry reset problem

Hi

I have bought a second hand Mitsubishi (NEC) Diamond Plus 91 monitor and it is driven by the NFL 9905 driver on Windows XP. The monitors geometry has been poorly set up by the previous owner and I am trying to reset the monitor to it`s default factory settings without any success. I cannot do this, as when I use the Geometry Reset function it complains "geometry reset - user timing - cannot be reset". Upon further investigation the monitors settings are set to 56.5 khz @ 70.1 hz User -11.

If anyone has any thoughts on this matter I would be very grateful as it is a good monitor otherwise. I have also looked at the NEC website for clues but no luck.

TIA

I couldn't find any info on your monitor other than that it appears that you will have to set the timing to "factory settings" manually before using that reset button. I found this quote in a user manual that was largely in a foriegn language. (but this part was in english)

Quote:
If a non-factory preset timing is used, "geometry reset" will not work.
This page has some info on the different functions of the reset button. It is for the Model 71 but maybe the info is good for yours too.

This is the rest of the site.

This might be a chart of the settings you need.

Here is a chart of the adjustment options. Timing adjustment is second-to-last on that chart.

In any case there may be enough info on that site to get you going.

BTW, the NEC-Mitsubishi site sucks for support!
