Mozilla Firebird

I'm using Firebird 0.7 under Linux, love it much more then regular Mozilla since it finally displays web page fonts properly. YAY. But i'm having problems with downloading files. I can't set MIME types. When I click on a file to download, it won't let me Open it with a custom program, the drop down menu in the attached image doesn't work. Is this normal for the pre 1.0 version? Also, in Options->Downloads->File Types, it won't let me edit file types (the box is completely empty and the buttons are grayed out)....is this normal too?

Well for one, TIMO is still using an older buggy version of vbulletin and needs to be updated so that you can view attachments without having to go through that menu.

Not sure about your problem though, as I haven't tried it under Linux yet.

I was only able to just download with mozilla firebird, however I was using 0.6.1+
So I hadn't tried version 0.7 or 0.8.0+ for linux, not sure if they make a nightly build of the version 8 for linux tho, they likely do now.
It works ok in windows, to change action on the mime type, the buttons light up when clicking on the mime type you want so you can change and remove.
However I forget as i hardly use that anyhow, but i use it more with the latest nightly builds which is newer than version 0.7.

See, the problem is there are no mimetypes listed in the options box at all, so there's nothing to click...and it's not just with TIMO, it's with ANY download that I have mimetype associacion problem with

I don't have any mime settings under linux either I suppose I could try updating it, not sure why there are no mime types, i wonder with a little editing i could import the windows mimetype.rdf i think is the file into linux and edit out all the apps and add linux ones.
