Maxtor diamondmax+9 80gb

I'm bying a new hd.
Right now i'm thinking about the Maxtor diamondmax+9 80gb with 8mb buffer.

If I buy it, it's going to be a bulk, because I can't get a retail from where I live or if I could, the price would be astronomical.

So what do you think, shoul I go for it (bulk)?!?!

or should I get for example a Western Digital HD CAVIAR SE/80GB UIDE100 7200RPM 8MB???

128mb sdram (soon 256mb)
Windows Me

That's a tossup, both drives are very good IMHO I've been running two of the Maxtors in this computer for a year now with no problems, and I've got another computer running twin WDs in a RAID0 array for over 3 years now.

The only thing to sway the decision is price

I think both because I don't want to be with a full hd immediately, but I also like handle big files quickly.

So what do you think about the fact that it's bulk?? I got the caple, screws and that installing software can downloaded from maxtors site., so does it really matter?
