Active Desktop--Help Needed
I'm trying to deploy a webpage via active desktop to all the computers in a lab I administer. Due to domain policies beyond my control, I am doing this via the MMC on each individual machine. I've created a new group policy for the local machine, and under /local computer policy/user configuration/administrative templates/desktop/active desktop, I'm:
1. setting "Enable Active Desktop" to 'enable,' and
2. setting "Add/Delete Item" to 'enable,' and then entering the URL of the page I want as the active desktop.
This succeeds in displaying the correct web page as an active desktop, but it splits the desktop with the icons (thus compressing the web page), instead of having the web page full-screen with the icons on top. I know there is an individual user setting to correct this problem, but is there a way I can "administratively" tell it not to split the desktop with the icons? Or, is there just a better way for me to do it all in the first place?
Many thanks.
