WIN2K Startup Woes

Friends,

I have a big problem with our Windows 2k Server. It started when the server was not properly shutdown by my colleague.
Since then i have been experiencing these problems during startup:

a) It takes 15 minutes to complete "Preparing Network Connections...".
b) It takes 10 minutes to complete "Loading Personal Settings...".
c) One of the services called NET LOGON won't start automatically thus it has to be started manually.

This is my daily routine and it is very frustrating because a lot of time is being wasted and so I need help to solve these woes. Thanks in advance.

it is too late now but for future refrence if you have trouble booting up turn it off,turn it on and press F8 when it starts then last known good. this will take you back to the last sucessful logon. It is too late now because it eventually loged on.
I haven't had that problem so I don't know the solution.
Just for the heck of it go to explore and look for a file " found.0000 " or something similar and see what it is, it may be the corupted files.
