CHAINTECH GeForce FX 5200
Hello I recently purchased a CHAINTECH GeForce FX 5200 128 MB Card. I was under the impression as told by the retailer at Alpine Computers that it was strictly plug and play, WRONG or so I think. I need help trying to install it, I get so far after that it freezes up and says VGA mode not supported.
I got a:
Amptron Mother board K7 - 810CLM6 w/
ONBoard CPU AMD Duron 1600+
Chipset - SiS 730S
VGA/Audio - YES/YES
Modem/LAN - AMR/YES
DIMM/DDR - 2/0
ISA/PCI/AGP/AMR - 0/2/1/1
I have Windows XP Pro
20 GB HD (Master) Western Digital
120 GB HD (Slave) Seagate
(2 X 256)512 MB Kingsten<--Spelling??? SDRam
Monitor
17" LCD Plasma Proview Monitor
