Aloha, (I'm from Ohio but its 16 degree's for the 3rd week so i am in denial)
I recently plopped down 2k for this Laptop and tonight I burned a DVD.. after I noticed a burning smell.. upon checking the original Disk i noticed it was discolored and the smell was from the DVD CD drive comming out the exhaust ports.. I thought the thing read awfully fast heh..
It still functions fine but being this is my first Laptop (built many desk tops) I wanted to know if anyone ever experienced anything simialar and if i need to replace the thing .. its 1 week old.. leave it to me to melt it in 6 days
