....Oh yah, to everyone else what do you think about Acrylic cases? Basically there is clear and 3 diff translucent colors I think. I saw a Black one that was like smoked glass with red acrylic led fans that look hott! I'll attach a pic of it. Tell me what you think. I've never owned an acrylic case so if anyone has can you tell me what these cases are like from an owners perspective?

I got one of those acrylic boxes. (check my gallery) I like mine alright but I don't think I would buy it again if I had the option. They get dirty like any other PC but you can actually see "all" the dirt when the whole thing is acrylic. The stand-off's for the mobo don't line up that well and the thing is a pain in the butt to work on. Anytime you want to add or remove any drive you have to pull all of the cards off the mobo and take the mobo side off to reach the screws. If you are someone who is always changing the inside of your PC avoid this case.

You can get those cases in lots of different online stores. Just do a search for acrylic case and take your pick.

Although the Acrylic cases look pretty neat, they have just never appealed to me that much when I was on the market for a new case.

Like what f1oored said, you can see how dirty they get... Woudln't they scratch easily too?

I don't know. Whenever I look at cases and I see the acrylics, I just pass by them as if they weren't cases at all.

Hmmnn, good points. I guess it would be a matter of looks over functionality. I myself build a machine to last for a few years and very rarely go inside. Also I was thinking with the smoked black the dirt issue wouldnt be such an issue. Still might have to get one just cuz they look so darn cool.
