CRC Error

i have a zip file which is unable to extract because i always get a CRC-Error in Filename.exe.

so what shall i do?

i downloaded the file three times and always the same, so it's not a download problem!

Sounds like the source of your download is hosting a corrupt file. I am not aware of any way to repair a CRC error. Perhaps find the file from a different source?

well it's an official file from an official server and everything is legal

strange, maybe i have to find another server...

If you have a filter running, it may make the download corrupt. Disable the filter/antivirus software and then download it.

Did u check if u have the current version of the compression software?

Not much you can do to fix the file. I would try putting the exact file name (of the zip file) into Google and seeing if there is anywhere else to download it from.
