When do you think HL2 will come out?

Simple enuf question. I'm just wondering when you guys expect HL2 to finally hit store shelves. Also, do you think ATI will honor the coupons from the cards they sold this past summer?

Personally, I am expecting at the earliest Q1/Q2 2005.

It'll never come out. Its vaporware. It never existed. Everything you have ever heard or seen about it is part of a government conspiracy.

OK, seriously. I expect it sometime this year. They've been working on it since 98, so a 2 year delay sounds a little too long. Big reason not to delay to 2005: DX10 may be out. that would make the game outdated and the graphics would no longer be top notch.

I have no idea about the coupons. If they dont honor them, we may have a mass lawsuit on our hands.

I suspect the 3rd to 4th quarter of 2004. Likely in time for the holiday season.

I would say right around late summer time. I don't personally care, I am waiting for Doom III anyway.

Im already crossing fingers that Doom 3 doesnt get delayed.... will bring back good old memories..

Shouldn't worry about it too much. It's really close! Some stores around here are having pre-orders of the game.

ID Software and Carmack said that the game would get done when it gets done -- The thing a game producer should say.
