Jackie Franck, the developer of one of the first decent audio rippers, has announced his creation will become freeware Feb 9, 2004. Audiograbber was one of the first to embrace the LAME encoder, and remains perhaps the best ripper for use on some "protected" CD's. Audiograbber was one of the first bits of software I purchased, and though I rarely use it now, I feel I got more than my money's worth. Kudos to Jackie.
