Kids Help! I can't choose which speakers Please help!

I've just got a new computer, and I want to buy a set of kick @$$ speakers. I've been thinking alot of Logitechs Z-640 and the Creative Inspire T5400. I only want to get 5.1 speakers. Which should i get? Do you have any other suggestions? Your help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Thanks Headband for the Feedback, but i should add that im on a bit of a budget, and although we all dream for klipsch, I'd agree with you for the Z-640.

If you're on a budget and looking for good speakers for the $, look no further than the Altec Lansing 251.

Good idea for the Altec Lansing 251, and Im looking at some reviews for it. It seems pretty good, and I know Altec Lansing is good quality. Thanks!

IMO, get the Klipsch Promedia 2.1's now (should be less than $200), and save for the Klipsch 5.1's (I think 7.1s may be in the future). Klipsch really does sound the best (again, IMO)... and I've used very good Altecs, and heard the Z-640s.

My sis-in-law teaches music (she's also a musician and bandleader), and she's very happy with the klipsch speakers we used for her PC.

Yiou can always sell the 2.1's when you are ready to step up to the 5.1s.

logitech 5300... spend the extra cash and get some very very decent speakers. i mean hey, you buy speakers once right? might as well go a little further this time around and avoid any regrets later on (which may induce you to buy another speaker set if you dont like the one you just bought and, thus, spend even more money that you originally intended). i am pretty sure you can find the logitech 5300 for around 140 or so on ebay... try pricewatch or dealtime.com.

Well, no one has said anything about the Creative Inspire T5400, so I guess its just down to the Z-640 and X-5300. But if you can see if you can help me find some pretty good priced Klipschs' cause if i can find one, I'm gonna just buy it. But I don't wanna spend more than 120, but maybe for the Logitech X-5300 I'll spend 140. Thanks for your help guys!

Okay, I think I have been blessed! I found Klipsch GMX 5.1 for $200! It used to be $300! I'll save up for $200 but I need some help finding them for like $140, hopefully ebay or amazon has got em, or maybe I can find a retarded moron selling them for that price!

Send a message via ICQ to OuTpaTienT
I would also recommend the Klipsch 2.1s (NON GMX version). See this thread.

I'd take my Klipsch 2.1 speakers over most other brands 5.1 speakers.
