Well, I'm running DX9 right now on my computer, but currently I only own DX8 games. Everything works fine.
I was just wondering if I'm going to have a quality or performance hit if WoW is indeed a DX9 game.
probably not, the ti4200 is a good card and should be able to handle it. What are the system requirements for the game? If yours is higher than the recommended vid card, then you'll be fine.
I doubt if you'd notice any difference
DX9 is backwards compatible
The only thing you'll miss are mostly negligible visual enhancements.

The system requirements have yet to be released. But from what people are speculating in miscellaneous articles I've found on google, it shouldn't take much to run it... yay!
I will have to wait for the international beta testing....
