need some help with checking email from multiple computers

Here's the deal.

I use my primary computer as a pop3 account so that I actually have the messages downloaded to the computer and can look at them offline if necessary. however, I make sure to leave the messages on the server. that way I can check them from work by just SSH'ing into the system or using webmail or another stronger program as IMAP.

here's the rub...

I just got a new computer at home and installed eudora on it. I logged into my primary account and it downloaded all the messages just fine. I then logged into my secondary account and it downloaded all those messages just fine as well.. EXCEPT. (DOH!) I forgot to set up my filters before I did this... so all of the mail went into one giant bin. That's so messy I can't even dream of sorting it...

so I thought.. ok simple.. I can just delete the mailbox files (eudora) from my system and set up the filters and try it again. well I did that but here's where the next problem shows up.

when I check my accounts now, eudora thinks that there are no messages for me to download that I haven't already downloaded. I know that all of them are still on the servers, I just want to trick eudora into downloading all my msgs again.

ideas?... is this a eudora setting, or is there some sort of flag set on the email server saying that it's been downloaded once already or what!!??

thanks in advance
-Z

Might be able to import them off the other machine.

Might also look in the folder where the mail is stored. If you see something that looks like an index file, you could zap it...
