Problem with windows

OK i cant boot up windows i had to use knoppix to get this thing running. i am gonna reinstall windows i just need to know how i can let me this comp (running Knoppix) see my other comp in the other room long enough to backup my files?

might make the suggestion that you change the thread title to "knoppix netowrking help" as the question really has little do wtth a windpws problem

I'm assuming by seeing the other comp in the other room that you have the two networked already? if knoppix has your network card installed then you'll need info on the settings [wich I can't help with cause I can't do it either}

well it turns out i didnt need to do it after all. just went into windows on safe mode. and removed my video driver. i fired it right up and reinstalled the driver. no problems now
