LG 4040 B question
I have a LG 4040B DVD burner....

I am just wondering if there is a utility that will tell me what firmware of the burner I am using..

free util would be good.

post links if you have them..

The latest firware for your burner is the A302 here: http://www.cdfreaks.com/drive/firmware/932

I know its not the answer to your question, but updating to the latest firmware will allow you the best possible performance for your burner.

You can open the software that came with it (B's GOLD) and look at bottom right corner, it's listed after the drive name. Or download CDSpeed (www.cdspeed2000.com), it also lists it after the drive name.
