whats the best way to get good at photoshop besides grabbing a book? Im currently using PS 7.0 and I find this program very fun but frustrating at times, there are some tuts that I use but it seems like its gonna take awhile but Im patient, any recommendations. Another thing that distracts me are games, LoL.

not sure why you dont like books...if its the cost I bet your local public library as plenty PS books

Go here. Watch all those videos. They are fairly painless to sit though and sometimes even entertaining.. You can follow along with them like a tutorial or you can just sit and absorb the info. The guy is very good with PS and you're bound to learn something just sitting and watching those.
