Systray hide function in 2K

OK i like the little button you can use to hide the systray in XP i was wondering if there was a way i could do that in 2K i have alot of things running from there on my computer but they are all things i have to run i just dont want it looking all cluttered. can anyone help me out?

Nope, that's an XP-only feature. M$ wants you to fork over $140 in order to get that kind of stuff.

Tray Manager V2.0 (freeware) will do this. You can D/L from:

If we are talking about the same thing, I copies MSCONFIG.EXE from Win98 and It works fine.

Don't mess with anything except start up tho...

Tray manager is more elegant...

well that tray manager is what i want but you have to pay for a pc magazine account which isn't what i had in mind. maybe i can find it elsewhere

minimize to tray but also, make an icon invisible in the systray

i dont see how to make my icons invisible?? where is it?

Do you speak about WondIcon ?
Take a look in the help file. You right click on the icon of Wondicon and you should have a choice to hide totally.

it appears this is for hiding windows on the desktop im wanting to hide my system tray icons it appears this just adds more and yes im talking about wondicon
